GM 3.8 Liter V6 CS130D to CS144 Conversion

Need more charging power in your 1996-2001 GM vehicle with the 3.8 liter V6 using the 100-105 amp CS-130D type alternator like the one shown below. You can now install the MONSTER CS-144 type large case alternator.


As you can see, the CS-144 type alternator is much bigger than the CS-130D type. This larger diameter will allow the alternator to generate noticeably more power especially at lower engine speeds. Also the Dual-Rectifier allows it to have more power run through it than a Single-Rectifier alternator. This can give you the extra edge you need to power all kinds of car accessories. Such as: Emergency Vehicle Lights & Accessories, Stereos, winches, TVs, Computers, Navigational systems, etc.
